thanks for your words. I was a bit “doubting” on the weekend. When I post about superficial stuff on linkedin, I get hundreds likes. Whenever I post about climate change, climate action, AI safety…. the algorithm barely picks it up. How can we turn that around ? I know most of the people around me are worried about the topic but the algorithm rewards “AI agents” “how to get 10 times more productive with multi agents and claude skills” ….

This happens to me too. Frankly I think that LinkedIn's algorithm isn't very good and they need to figure out who they are as a platform.

One thing I try to remember in those doubting moments is that most people don't engage with content, and that can skew engagement-based algorithms. That's why I try to focus on output as my metric rather than engagement -- flipping that puts the focus on if I'm making content that I find interesting and feel proud of. And that makes it more fun and rewarding for me as a creator.

Also: most people lurk, but that doesn't mean that they're not seeing or thinking about your content. It often requires showing up in a person's feed multiple times (7-8x) for them to start recognizing you. And just as we get fatigued with the slop, a lot of other people are too. If you're making content that others want to see, I've no doubt that others are looking for it too!

I love your ending sentence, it is so so powerful in today's day and age. And a reminder to me, to stay curious, and be okay with not knowing things once in a while.

Thank you! It’s hard for sure, but not knowing things is just a part of learning. I truly believe that if you follow your curiosity you’ll gain experiences that you couldn’t even imagine :-)
